Aug.06,2019 Installed a Waterstop Board (Tide gate) at Port Island Chemicals Center.
We affected by storm surge damage of Typhoon No.20 and Typhoon No.21 last year at our Port Island Chemicals Center and we were forced to close for a month. It was inconvenience for our customers and related parties.
At this time, we have completed the installation of Waterstop Board to prevent storm surges at the entrances and exits of warehouse at our Port Island Chemicals Center.
We will continue to countermeasures against disasters such as storm surges and tsunami.
Jan. 23, 2019 An expansion of dangerous goods warehouse in Toyahama Warehouse 3.
An expansion of dangerous goods warehouse in Toyahama Warehouse 3 was fully constructed, and we had a completion ceremony on January 23rd.
By expanding the 1000㎡ storage space, we have greatly enhanced the hazardous product handling capacity in the area.

The Ichihara warehouse will start operations on October 1 as a new base for dangerous goods handling in Kanto area.
We will provide the best logistics services to meet the needs our customers by establishment of dangerous goods warehouses located in the Keiyo Rinkai industrial Zone, which the largest industrial complex in Japan, including petrochemical and steel industries.
May. 09, 2018 Notification of Business Alliance with Sinotrans Chemical Co., Ltd.
In order to strengthen promote further dangerous goods logistics in China, we signed a strategic business alliance agreement with Sinotrans Chemical Co., Ltd., on April 18th, 2018 which is the largest company of dangerous goods and chemicals logistics in China.
Sinotrans Chemical Co., Ltd. is a specialized company which is responsible for dangerous goods and chemical distribution in the Sinotrans group. They own warehouse facilities in major regions in China, and manage and operate dangerous goods transportation vehicles in-house. Additionally we have also developed our service to connect the major cities of China by utilizing flights with dangerous goods in addition to container vehicles.

Jan. 10, 2017 Sakurajima Sales Office and Osaka Sakurajima futo Chemicals Center opened in Osaka.
We moved the customs clearance business from the Osaka sales office to the Sakurajima sales office, which is the seaside area. As a result, the Osaka sales office will be more specialized in sales operations. Meanwhile, the Sakurajima sales office aims to enhance business structure by utilizing its good access to Osaka and Sakaisenboku ports.

Nov. 25, 2016 The warehouse reconstruction at Port Island Chemicals Center was completed.
The construction of the existing dangerous goods warehouse in the Port Island Chemicals Center was completed, and the completion ceremony was finished on November 25th. The storage space of dangerous goods has been expanded from the narrow warehouse of 150㎡×3 to the wide span of 1000㎡. We will continuously improve our services.
May. 11, 2016 Tank Container service started in Kitakyusyu.
A tank container facility which handles the dangerous goods has opened in Kitakyusyu (Tachinoura futo). In the same way as in the past Yokohama, Nagoya, and Kobe, this will be the fourth Multi Work Station in Japan. It is also corresponding to the storage, heating and transfer of tank container.
Apr. 21, 2016 An expansion of Yatsushiro Warehouse, Kumamoto.
The second phase expansion work for the existing Yashiro dangerous goods warehouse in Kumamoto was completed, and the completion ceremony was held on April 21st.
A dangerous goods warehouse has been enlarged into 2 buildings and service for handling dangerous goods has been expanded.
Apr. 11, 2016 An expansion of Nagoya Chemicals Center
We have expanded the site at the Nagoya Chemicals Center and started our operation on April 11th. We also installed a truck scale (weighing place) in the extended area, which enables customers to weigh dry containers, tank containers and tank lorries etc. We keep improving our service to meet our customers’ needs.

We have enlarged the tank container outdoor storage at the Yokohama Chemical Center and started its operation on December 28th. Nov. 1, 2015 An establishment of Yatsushiro Warehouse (Kumamoto)
A dangerous goods warehouse was newly established and started its operation by forming a partnership with Matsuki Transportation Co., Ltd. in Yatsushiro City, Kumamoto Prefecture. A completion ceremony was completed on October 27th, 2015. This facility is able to import and export from Yatsushiro port, and expand the service of dangerous goods handling in Kyushu area, covering the logistics of dangerous goods in southern Kyushu.
July. 1, 2015 An expansion of Nagoya Chemicals Center
The second phase expansion work for the Nagoya Chemicals Center (Dangerous goods warehouse, special equipment and office building extension) was completed at the end of June, and the completion ceremony was held on July 1st, 2015. Nagoya Chemicals Center started its operation as of today (December 17th, 2012). In conjunction with the existing three warehouses (Kyugouchi warehouse, Chubu logistics warehouse, Nagoya warehouse), we strongly support the optimization and efficiency of dangerous goods logistics.
Dec. 13, 2012 A new facility called "Nagoya Chemicals Center" has been established.
The Nagoya Chemicals Center (NCPC: Nagoya Chemicals Products Center) has been under the constitution since the summer of 2012.We had a completion ceremony on December 13th, 2012 and NCPC will be opened on December 17th.
NCPC is a large-scale dangerous material handling facility with a site of 19,000㎡ near Nabeta Pier ・Tobishima Pier, which is the main container terminal of Nagoya Port. Therefore, it will greatly increase the ability to handle dangerous goods in the Nagoya area. The new warehouse also sets up a Multi Work Station (MWS), which includes storage and heating facilities for ISO tank containers, and strives to further improve the service.

May. 7, 2012 Yokohama Chemicals Center Warehouse 2 started its operation.
The Yokohama Chemicals Center was fully constructed since its plan had been initiated in the summer of 2011, its completion ceremony was held on April 17th and it started its operation from May 7th. As a result, we have established a storage system for all five buildings and 5,000㎡including existing facilities.
At Yokohama Chemicals Center, we are also operating a Multi Work Station (MWS), which performs mutual refills and filling of containers such as ISO tank containers as well as drum cans, tank containers, lorries, and drums. Additionally, we made an extension to the tank container heating facility with 10 lanes, and provide our customers with advanced services to respond to the needs of the diversified chemical flow by MWS with the latest function.

Apr. 17, 2012 The Completion Ceremony was held at Yokohama Chemicals Center Warehouse 2 and Warehouse 3.
Followed by the completion of the warehouses No.4 and No.5 in January 2012, the warehouse No.3 (a constant temperature dangerous goods warehouse) was constructed and the completion ceremony was held. We are currently in the process of improving the surrounding facilities and will start operating soon.

We acquired 16,525㎡, adjacent to the Yokohama Chemicals Center warehouse No.2, which opened in January 2010. Dec. 27, 2011 ISO9001 Re-Authentication Registration has completed.
We have completed ISO9001 re-authentication registration by December 27th, 2011.
Sep. 9, 2011 We received a letter of appreciation from Fire Department City of Kobe.
After the Great East Japan Earthquake occurred on March 11th, we recognized the importance of the missions of Kobe Fire Department and received a letter of appreciation as a company that contributed significantly to the accomplishment of the missions for the disaster.
At the Kansai Division on March 14th, right after the disaster we initiated our mission of supplying fuel to the rescue vehicle (Hyogo Prefecture Relief Unit) in the disaster area, which was requested by the Kobe City Fire Department.
By utilizing the experience of the Great Hanshin Earthquake, we have received a letter of appreciation for the rapid response to the request by the fire department, which refers to the first priority for the rescue efforts, and has secured the fuel transport route ahead of fled.
May. 10, 2011 The completion of Yokohama Chemicals Center Warehouses 2, “The Constant Temperature Warehouse”
In the storage of dangerous goods warehouse No.1, the setting temperature of 5℃(minimum 3℃) for A room of 500㎡ the setting of temperature 15℃(lower limit 5℃ to 20℃) for Broom of 170㎡were completed and the operating system started from May 10th . We respond to any requests such as storage, sorting and packing of constant temperature cargos.

Mar. 24, 2011 Nagoya Kyugouchi Warehouse, “Constant Temperature Warehouse” expanded.
At the E Warehouse at the storage of dangerous goods in addition to a constant temperature facility of “existing 157㎡”, we renovated a new constant temperature warehouse of “320㎡”, total of “472㎡” with 5℃~15℃were renovated into a constant temperature warehouse for damaged goods, and business operation started on March 24th. We improve our service for dangerous goods storage and handling.
Mar. 22, 2011 Information about the Automatic Warehouse recovery at Yokohama Chemicals Center.
We would like to report that we enable the shipment of all the cargo to operate after the restoration of entire Automatic warehouse lane yesterday. We apologize for the inconvenience of the customer for a long period of time (1 week) due to the inability of shipment at the Automatic warehouse cargo.
Also, although we were going to finish and report the remarking check of the cargo during the holidays, we have not finished the remarking confirmation of all cargo due to the delay of crane recovery. It is expected to be a little crowded rather than to be shipped from the urgent cargo while checking the cargo.

Mar. 20, 2011 The situation of affected by Great East Japan Earthquake (6)
We would like to report our current situation. A after the one lane was restored yesterday, the two lanes were also restored today with the final safety confirmation. However, the equipment repairing of the remaining two lanes are not recovered yet and there is a delay in the initial recovery plan.
After the holiday on March 22nd, we are certain will be able to that we guide you from shipment to cargo at any time. Yet the impossibility to guide the shipment of some cargo has arisen after holiday.

Mar. 19, 2011 The situation of affected by Great East Japan Earthquake (5)
We would like to report the current situation. The restoration for one lane out of five lanes at the automatic warehouse has finished, and the final safety confirmation was completed successfully leading to its recovery. We are starting to check the cargo.
In addition, as for the remaining four lanes the crane recovery is delayed from the original plan which was scheduled to be restored by yesterday.
We work hard to recover and report the damages and shipping information after holidays as first announced.

Mar. 18, 2011 The situation of affected by Great East Japan Earthquake (4)
We would like to report the current situation. Repairment of equipment and the final safety check of the cargo in the rack have been undertaken and we carried out the recovery work through day and night. However, due to the government recommendation of the power saving concerning the fear of the large-scale blackout, it stopped working from 5pm and this resulted in delay in the restoration work
In addition, although there is a possibility that the recovery work may be delayed due to a planned power outage in the future, we will be able to ship as usual after the holidays.

Mar. 17, 2011 The situation of affected by Great East Japan Earthquake (3)
We would like to report the current situation. The processing for leaking cargo has been completed, and we are working on repairing the guardrail replacement and making final safety checks of cargo and equipment in the rack.
The prospect of shipping is to complete our repairment work for the automatic warehouse equipment during this week and the final check of the cargo during the holidays (March 19th-21st).We expect to ship on March 22nd as we informed before.

We would like to report the current situation. There is guardrail damage in the automatic warehouse storage due to the fall of four drums of cargo therefore the automatic warehouse cannot be operated (shipped).
We are doing our best to handle the leaking cargo and repair the automatic warehouse, yet we take plenty of time to prioritize safety.

Mar. 14, 2011 The situation of affected by Great East Japan Earthquake.
We would like to express our heartfelt sympathy to the people who suffered great damage from the Great East Japan Earthquake on Friday, March 11th.
Due to the earthquake, some cargo damage occurred at our Yokohama Chemicals Center and some of the equipment in the warehouse (automatic warehouse) has been damaged, and some shipments are not available today.
Based on a crisis management manual, we set up a disaster control headquarters with the President (Setoguchi Nisaburo) as the head office, and we are working to grasp the situation as quickly as positive to recover.

We have been certified as an “Authorized Customs Broker” in the AEO system and we were awarded an approval from Kobe Custom on May 3rd, 2010.
As an Authorized Customs Broker we are able to declare and export by utilizing declaration government office liberalization (We can choose which declaration government office to declare).
We will provide high convenience service to the customers.
Feb. 26, 2010 ISO9001 A completion of re-qualification registration completed (ISO9001: 2008 edition transition)
On February 26th, 2010, we have completed the ISO9001 re-certification registration and the transition to the 2008 version. The Yokohama Chemicals Center Warehouse 2 and the Toyahama Warehouse 3 have been added to the certification range.
Jan. 12, 2010 Yokohama Chemicals Center Warehouse 2 established.
The Yokohama Chemicals Center Warehouse 2 was completed in the Kanto area. The completion ceremony was finished January 9th and starting on January 12th.
We built a dangerous goods warehouse (994㎡×2building) in the vicinity of the existing Yokohama Chemicals Center and we have greatly strengthened our ability to handle dangerous goods in this area. In the future, it is possible to respond to the Fire Law No. 1,2,4,5, including the area that can be remodeled for dangerous goods and we will aim for further improvement of service.

Nov. 16, 2009 An establishment of the Toyahama Warehouse 3 in Kobe.
The Toyahama Warehouse 3 was established in Kobe, Toyahama area. The completion ceremony was successfully completed on November 13th and it started its operation on November 16th.
A dangerous goods warehouse (1000㎡) and two outside storage sites were installed in the site of 9500㎡near existing Toyahama Warehouse. In addition we handle the Fire Law 1,2,4,5 and poisonous products. As for the fourth class, we aim to improve the service in dangerous goods storage and handling in order to cope with all the special flammable products.

On August 28th, 2009, the results from the evaluation of disaster preparedness based on the DBJ disaster rating system were recognized as “excellent measures for disaster prevention, and we received the DBJ’s safety rating certificate from the Japan policy investment bank.

In order to expand the facilities of the special work site in Kyugochi Warehouse, we have renovated the existing general handling office, Since we considered the condition of during the rainy season and temperature rise in the summer, the roof was newly installed and with our considerate design, it has safety measures by laying out the wire for high-altitude work and ground. The Yokohama Chemicals Center has been able to store special flammable products that fall under the dangerous goods of the fourth class. In addition to storing special flammable products in Kansai area, we have acquired the permission of storing special flammable products in order to respond to the needs of our customers in Kanto area.

Dec. 10, 2008 Started to provide storage sites for PCB (polychlorinated biphenyls).
The Yokohama Chemicals Center started to provide a storage location for PCB (polychlorinated biphenyls). PCB refers to polychlorinated biphenyls and it was once used for electrical products such as capacitors. However, manufacturing has been discontinued in Japan since 1972.
In 2001, the Act on “special measures concerning the promotion of proper disposal of PCBs (polychlorinated biphenyls)” was promulgated, and the owner of the PCB is obligated to properly manage its disposal and report it to the government of the prefecture.

Dec. 10, 2008 We were commended for an exemplary tax reporter.
On November 7th, 2008, we received a commendation from the Kobe Tax Office as an excellent declaration corporation. An excellent declaration corporation is a company that has been recognized as a tax office in which the status of corporate tax and consumption tax reporting and accounting is particularly favorable and that the taxpayer can expect an exemplary declaration and tax payment in the future.

Dec. 12, 2007 An installation of AED (Automatic external Defibrillator).
Followed by the establishment of AEO in the Port Island Chemicals Center in 2005, we were completed establishing the AEO in the Yokohama Chemicals Center in December 2007.
An AED (Automatic External Defibrillator) is a medical device that gives an electric shock to the heart and returns to a normal state when suddenly falls into a cardiac arrest state.

Dec. 12, 2007 An installation of Reach Stackers.
In December 2007, we introduced a new reach stacker to Yokohama Chemicals Center. Reach Stacker is equipped with various safety functions such as overload precision monitor and twisted lock monitor lamp with a joystick, we are able to operate more easily and safety. The introduction of reach stacker enables us to efficiently lift containers and tank containers on and off.
